The 12 Day War: Trump's Call for Ceasefire Between Israel and Iran
Former U.S. President Donald Trump announced a comprehensive ceasefire between Israel and Iran aiming to conclude ongoing conflicts. He expressed hope for the resolve of both nations and proposed the cessation be called 'THE 12 DAY WAR.' Trump thanked Iran for notifying the U.S. of an earlier attack.

Former U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Monday that a comprehensive ceasefire has been initiated between Israel and Iran. The move is intended to bring an end to the prolonged conflict between the two nations.
Trump indicated that both countries would have some time to wrap up any ongoing missions, after which the ceasefire would begin through a phased approach. He praised Israel and Iran for their efforts, stating, "On the assumption that everything works as it should, which it will, I would like to congratulate both Countries, Israel and Iran, on having the Stamina, Courage, and Intelligence to end, what should be called, 'THE 12 DAY WAR.'"
Earlier comments from Trump suggested that he would continue to support Israel in moving toward peace, notably after dismissing an Iranian attack on a U.S. airbase that resulted in no injuries, while also acknowledging Tehran's advance warning of the incident.
