The Election Commission announced on Thursday its decision to begin the process of delisting 345 registered unrecognized political parties that have not participated in elections for six years.
The Commission stated that the offices of these parties were untraceable, raising concerns over their legitimacy and active status.
Presently, out of over 2,800 RUPPs registered, many have not satisfied the necessary conditions to maintain their status as recognized entities.
