In a heated political climate ahead of Bihar's Assembly polls, Prashant Kishor, the leader of the Jan Suraaj Party, has fiercely criticized Congress's Rahul Gandhi for his perceived lack of genuine involvement in the state. Kishor accused Gandhi of making token gestures and challenged him to spend a night in a Bihar village to demonstrate his grassroots connection.
During an interview with ANI, Kishor expanded his critique to include Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, demanding an apology for derogatory remarks about Biharis. He accused the Congress party of decades of negligence and disrespect towards the people of Bihar.
Kishor further accused the Congress of hypocrisy, recalling past promises like Rajiv Gandhi's pledge to turn Bihar into a development hub. He questioned the Congress's impact in the region and called on Rahul Gandhi to seek forgiveness from Biharis, paralleling a past apology to Sikhs. As Bihar's elections loom, Kishor's Jan Suraaj Party is positioning itself as an alternative amid persistent NDA and INDIA Bloc dynamics.
