In a scathing critique of the BJP's governance, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has accused the ruling party of creating an 'economic-social emergency' for traders through misguided policies and complex taxation.
During a meeting with the SP's Vyapar Sabha, Yadav lambasted the so-called 'double engine government' for allegedly focusing more on internal benefits than governance, resulting in severe setbacks for businesses, including the closure of 35,000 MSMEs in the past year.
Yadav assured traders of a safe business environment and respect under SP leadership if elected in 2027. This assertion of support from the business sector comes as Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath defended his administration's trader-focused initiatives.
