BJP National Spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia launched a scathing attack on the Rashtriya Janata Dal, accusing the party and its leader Tejashwi Yadav of sabotaging Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for empowering marginalized communities. Bhatia alleged that RJD's agenda is skewed towards implementing Sharia Law, contrary to constitutional principles.

Bhatia cited assertions from the 2024 Congress manifesto purportedly supporting Sharia Law, arguing it poses a threat to constitutional values. He claimed that Tejashwi Yadav's comments against the Waqf Amendment Act are meant to foment societal divisions, accusing the opposition of trading focus on development for controversial religious policies.

The BJP has long accused the RJD of mismanagement, with Bhatia highlighting the pending Supreme Court case on the Waqf Amendment Bill. He questioned Yadav's stance as anarchic and contradictory to judicial proceedings, thus fueling further tensions in Bihar as assembly elections approach.
