Former union minister and BJP Member of Parliament Narayan Rane has launched a sharp critique against Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray. The comments were made on social media, where Rane accused Thackeray of harassing his cousin, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) president Raj Thackeray, in the past and blamed him for the decline of the undivided Shiv Sena.

The timing of Rane's allegations is particularly noteworthy as Uddhav and Raj Thackeray are about to appear together on a public stage after nearly two decades. They plan to hold a joint rally on July 5, celebrating the state government's decision to repeal a Government Resolution related to the three-language policy.

Rane further claimed that Uddhav Thackeray lacks the strength to revive lost political ground, criticizing his leadership after Balasaheb Thackeray's era. The Shiv Sena (UBT) has responded, questioning Rane's own political moves, including his departure from both the Shiv Sena and Congress in the past.
