Karnataka's Chief Ministerial Stroke of Luck

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah acknowledged his good fortune as the reason behind his ascension to the post, following remarks made by Congress MLA B R Patil. During a press interaction, Siddaramaiah candidly stated, 'Yes, I am lucky. That's why I became the Chief Minister.'

Patil, who is displeased with Housing Minister B Z Zameer Ahmed Khan, highlighted Siddaramaiah's luck, mentioning that among the eight MLAs who shifted allegiance from JD(S) to Congress, Siddaramaiah was the fortunate one to secure the Chief Ministerial position.

Recently, Patil accused corruption in housing allocations for the poor in Aland, sparking further dissatisfaction among Congress MLAs Raju Kage and Belur Gopala Krishna. In response, Congress General Secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala is engaging with party members in Bengaluru to manage dissent and address concerns.
