Bihar Rural Works Minister Ashok Choudhary has launched a fierce criticism of Prashant Kishor, demanding an apology for claims concerning the Lok Sabha ticket granted to his daughter, Shambhavi Choudhary. Speaking to ANI, Choudhary dismissed opposition assertions suggesting Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's fatigue, asserting that the Janata Dal-United leader remains highly active, notably through his extensive 'Pragati Yatra.'

Choudhary praised the wide-ranging development achievements under Nitish Kumar's leadership and stressed the importance of the upcoming Bihar elections to further expedite growth. As JD(U) general secretary, Choudhary insisted that Kishor must apologize for his accusations regarding his daughter's Lok Sabha candidacy.

A defamation case has been filed against Kishor following allegations that Choudhary had paid the Lok Janshakti Party for his daughter's ticket. Shambhavi Choudhary emerged as one of the youngest MPs by winning the Samastipur seat in 2024. The minister demanded proof from Kishor, emphasizing his role as a Dalit community inspiration, and stressed the need for evidence-based assertions by public figures.

Choudhary dismissed Prashant Kishor's political role, labeling him as a 'dealer' rather than a leader. He mocked Kishor's past affiliations with various political parties, arguing Kishor's impact on Bihar's political landscape is negligible. Shambhavi Choudhary also condemned Kishor's remarks, viewing them as personal attacks driven by feudal attitudes.

Highlighting Nitish Kumar's active engagements, Choudhary negated opposition claims about his diminishing vitality, outlining the NDA government's progress in infrastructure and investments that promise economic boom if they reclaim power. Bihar is set to vote later this year.
