During the discussion on Iran, Putin highlighted the importance of resolving matters through political and diplomatic channels, as articulated by his foreign affairs adviser, Yuri Ushakov. This call comes after the US struck three sites in Iran, further entangling itself in the conflict surrounding Tehran's nuclear ambitions.
On Ukraine, Trump emphasized a swift resolution to the ongoing conflict, while Putin reiterated Russia's commitment to addressing the fundamental issues of the war. He maintained that Ukraine should abandon its NATO aspirations for a peace deal to proceed.
