Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin has praised V S Achuthanandan, a stalwart of the Left movement in Kerala, as a beloved leader who embraced principled politics. The Chief Minister emphasized Achuthanandan's contributions to public service and extended condolences to his family and followers.

Minister for Natural Resources, S Regupathy, was appointed by Stalin to represent Tamil Nadu at the mourning for the deceased Communist leader. Achuthanandan, a significant figure in Kerala's political history, passed away following a cardiac arrest at a Thiruvananthapuram hospital. He died at the age of 101.

Stalin commemorated Achuthanandan's revolutionary legacy in a social media post, stressing his influence on the political conscience of Kerala. Offering heartfelt sympathies, he paid a 'Red salute' to the iconic leader, vowing to honor his memory further.
