Tensions escalated in Indian Parliament as the BJP accused Congress of fabricating a narrative around Operation Sindoor. Both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha sessions faced adjournments due to protests from opposition parties demanding a discussion on several pressing issues, including the operation.
In response to the uproar, BJP spokesperson K K Sharma criticized the opposition for avoiding parliamentary debate. Sharma emphasized the BJP's willingness to engage in dialogue, a sentiment echoed by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju.
The controversy deepened with the arrest of NSUI leader Pradhan in a rape case. BJP seized the opportunity to question Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's silence, as Congress suspended Pradhan, reaffirming their stance against gender-based injustice.
