British F-35B Jet Takes Off after Successful Maintenance

The British F-35B fighter jet has successfully resumed flight after completing necessary maintenance work, exiting Thiruvananthapuram International Airport more than a month after an emergency landing.

Departing at 10.50 am, the jet headed towards Darwin, Australia. A UK engineering team conducted repairs and safety checks to facilitate its return to active service. This effort highlighted the effective collaboration between the UK and Indian authorities during the process.

Stationed at the airport since June 14 due to a technical issue, this powerful fighter jet from the UK Royal Navy remains one of the world's most advanced, valued at over USD 110 million.
