Zelenskiy Pledges United Front against Corruption

On Wednesday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy convened a meeting with anti-corruption and security officials, announcing a forthcoming joint plan to combat corruption set to take effect within the next two weeks.

"We are attuned to society's voice and recognize the expectations placed on state institutions for justice and effective operation," Zelenskiy commented following Tuesday's nationwide protests. The demonstrations expressed public dissatisfaction over recent limitations imposed on the independence of anti-graft bodies.

This move by Zelenskiy aims to reassure the public and strengthen the functionality of institutions critical to Ukraine's anti-corruption framework.
