Ranaut, the Lok Sabha MP from Mandi, emphasized the severity of the disaster and shared insights about the situation in a detailed meeting. Home Minister Shah offered condolences and pledged every possible assistance for those impacted.
The central government has committed to supporting Himachal Pradesh during the crisis, following significant damage from monsoon rains resulting in 76 deaths, numerous missing persons, and extensive infrastructural damage estimated at Rs 1,247 crore.
