The Youth Congress wing has taken legal action against Malayalam actor Vinayakan, filing a complaint with the Kerala Police Chief over a controversial Facebook post. The post allegedly disrespects several past leaders, including former CM V S Achuthanandan and Mahatma Gandhi.
Sijo Joseph, President of Ernakulam's Youth Congress, claims Vinayakan's remarks are emotionally hurtful and potentially incites unrest among the followers of the late CPI(M) leader Achuthanandan, who recently passed away.
The post also targets former Indian Prime Ministers and Kerala CMs, prompting calls for a legal case against Vinayakan to prevent further provocative content that could disrupt public peace.
