In a spirited address, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi lauded the recent caste survey conducted in Telangana, terming it a landmark step towards social justice in India. According to Gandhi, the survey could set a precedent for a national caste census irrespective of the ruling party's stance.

Gandhi firmly reiterated the necessity of English education for economically backward communities while emphasizing the pivotal role of the Telangana government in leveraging caste census data to improve citizens' lives. He also criticized the Indian government for hindering efforts to surpass the 50 percent reservation ceiling in education and employment sectors.

Turning to electoral matters, Gandhi fiercely criticized the Election Commission of India, accusing it of malpractices during Karnataka's voter list revision. He challenged the ECI to address the allegations transparently, underscoring the gravity of these claims, as he prepared to confront the electoral body.
