Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin on Friday reaffirmed the commitment of his party's members of Parliament in voicing the state's rights in the national legislature.
Drawing on the illustrious history of DMK's parliamentary influence, which dates back to former Chief Minister C N Annadurai, Stalin noted, 'Our MPs have consistently been the voice of Tamil Nadu.' He expressed admiration for the impassioned speech by his political ally, Vaiko, acknowledging its emotional impact on him, in a post on social media.
Further appreciation was extended to party stalwarts like Shanmugam, M M Abdulla, and senior lawyer P Wilson, alongside new entrants Kamal Haasan, S R Sivalingam, and poet Salma, marking their nominations to the Rajya Sabha as a reinforcement of the state's representation in the upper house.
