In a significant parliamentary session, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh initiated an in-depth discussion on the successful execution of Operation Sindoor, labeling it a historic military operation. Singh acknowledged the unwavering bravery of Indian soldiers who are always prepared to sacrifice their lives for the nation.
Addressing the Lok Sabha, Singh expressed gratitude on behalf of the entire Parliament towards the military personnel. He emphasized Operation Sindoor as a decisive and effective stance against terrorism, showcasing India's commitment to its sovereignty and citizenry.
Singh detailed the comprehensive planning involved in launching the operation on May 6 and 7. The strikes focused on eliminating terrorists while avoiding civilian casualties, hitting nine terrorist sites with precision. More than 100 terrorists linked to notorious outfits like Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba were reportedly neutralized in the swift 22-minute operation.
