Amidst parliamentary debate on Operation Sindoor, Congress MP Imran Masood has called for Prime Minister Narendra Modi to personally address the House. The request follows Defence Minister Rajnath Singh's failure to adequately communicate details and success of the operation responding to the April 22 Pahalgam attack.
Masood questioned Singh's ability to provide a comprehensive update during his one-hour speech, expressing the need for clarity on whether the terrorists involved were neutralized. Concurrently, Singh criticized the opposition for prioritizing what he terms as misguided inquiries during deliberations in Lok Sabha.
In his defense of Operation Sindoor, Singh affirmed the operation's effectiveness, emphasizing its status as a landmark campaign against terrorism. He reported successful targeting of terror hubs and maintained none of India's soldiers were harmed, underscoring India's strategic strike in response to the Pahalgam incident which affected 26 lives.
