On Tuesday, proceedings in the Lok Sabha resumed with a focus on continuing the debate over Operation Sindoor. Union Home Minister Amit Shah is expected to speak in the Lower House, addressing key issues between 12:00 and 1:00 PM. This marks the seventh day of the monsoon session, filled with crucial agenda items.

While the Rajya Sabha adjourned shortly after convening at 11 AM, a significant discussion on Operation Sindoor is scheduled to extend 16 hours today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to address the Lok Sabha in the evening. Government sources report that Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Minister of External Affairs S. Jaishankar will contribute to the Rajya Sabha debate.

The opposition, led by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, is set for a two-hour discussion in the Lok Sabha, probing the government's response to the Pahalgam terrorist attack. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh critiqued the opposition's focus on minor issues which he warns could detract from the broader aim of national security. Deputy Leader Gaurav Gogai criticized the BJP-led government for delays in apprehending the terrorists involved in the Pahalgam attack.
