During a heated Lok Sabha debate on Operation Sindoor, DMK MP Kanimozhi launched a fierce critique of the central government, questioning its response to recent terror events and accusing it of evading responsibility. She highlighted the government's failure to learn from past errors, resulting in increasing public distrust.

Kanimozhi strongly condemned the Modi administration for engaging in divisive politics and sidelining the Opposition in vital national security discussions. While she appreciated the BJP's move to involve opposition leaders in Operation Sindoor's global outreach, she lamented the circumstances necessitating this delegation were unfortunate.

The DMK MP rebuked Home Minister Amit Shah's remarks that Opposition parties were less patriotic and criticized the government's persistent reference to Jawaharlal Nehru's legacy. She stressed the need to protect democracy and questioned the foreign policy support post-Pahalgam attack.
