In a surprising turn of events, Yashashri Munde, the youngest daughter of late BJP stalwart Gopinath Munde, has opted out of the political race for a directorial position at the Vaidyanath Urban Co-operative Bank in Maharashtra's Beed district.

The elections, set for August 10, had Yashashri positioned to make her political debut amid expectations of following in the political path of her sisters, Pankaja and Pritam. July 29 marked the deadline for withdrawing nominations, which Yashashri met.

Her withdrawal leaves elections to focus only on positions for open and NT categories. The official nomination list will be released on Wednesday, marking an unexpected shift in the political dynamics within the Munde family.
