The Haryana BJP has charted a strategic course to reclaim 42 assembly seats it lost in the 2024 elections, appointing party MLAs, including several ministers, as constituency incharges. The appointments were solidified during a BJP Legislature Party meeting, casting attention on key areas where the opposition now holds sway.

In the recent state polls, the BJP secured a third consecutive term, capturing 48 of the 90 seats, while the Congress claimed 37. A few constituencies went to INLD and Independents. Despite these gains, significant districts like Ambala City, Baroda, and Sirsa eluded their grasp, prompting the need for targeted reconstructions.

Tasked with fortifying the grassroots, addressing local demands, and resolving public issues, these incharge MLAs aim to amplify BJP's local influence. Noteworthy ministerial incharges include Vipul Goel and Rao Narbir Singh, although notable by omission is senior minister Anil Vij.
