A multi-party delegation of Members of Parliament (MPs) from Nepal met Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri on Wednesday to discuss opportunities for strengthening and expanding the bilateral partnership between the two countries, according to a statement from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).
The MEA Spokesperson, Randhir Jaiswal, took to social media platform X to share photographs from the meeting, highlighting the discussions on enhancing the India-Nepal partnership for mutual benefit.
This visit by the Nepalese delegation precedes an anticipated official visit by Nepal's Prime Minister, K P Sharma Oli, to India, scheduled for mid-September, as announced by Nepal's foreign ministry.
