In a pointed critique, Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot condemned the escalating political polarization in India, arguing it threatens the nation's unity. Speaking in Bikaner, Gehlot cautioned that while polarization might seem advantageous short-term, it could have adverse long-term implications for the country.

Echoing his sentiments, Congress MP Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa voiced concerns over Home Minister Amit Shah's recent parliamentary speech regarding Operation Sindoor. Randhawa argued that labeling victims of the Pahalgam terrorist attack by religion was inappropriate. They both stressed the significance of India's diverse social fabric and criticized the ruling BJP for disregarding the contributions of past Congress leaders.

Randhawa further asserted that BJP's governance aims to undermine opposition voices and falsely propagates that India's achievements began post-2014. He called out the government for evading accountability in international matters, particularly questioning the role of former U.S. President Trump in mediating a ceasefire between India and Pakistan.
