Pakistan expressed strong criticism towards the statements made by Indian leaders in the Lok Sabha about Operation Sindoor. The operation, launched by India on May 7 in response to the Pahalgam terror attack, targeted terrorist infrastructure in Pakistani-controlled territories.
The strikes led to intense clashes over four days, ending with a ceasefire on May 10. Pakistan maintained that meaningful dialogue with India, particularly over Jammu and Kashmir, is essential for resolving outstanding issues.
The Foreign Office accused India of distorting facts and dismissed the significance of Operation Mahadev. Pakistan also called India's references to nuclear blackmail misleading and urged India to honor the Indus Waters Treaty obligations.
