In a bold statement to the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday, Home Minister Amit Shah accused Congress of gifting Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and vowed that the BJP government would reclaim it. Shah issued a compelling challenge to Congress, emphasizing the government's commitment to national security.

Discussing Operation Sindoor, Shah refuted claims of external influence in halting the operation, asserting that Pakistan capitulated when pressed. He noted the Modi government's efforts in dismantling terrorist organizations such as Lashkar-e-Taiba and Hizbul Mujahideen, and stressed India's advancements in military capabilities under Modi's leadership.

Shah criticized Congress's prioritization of vote bank politics over security, highlighting how Congress leaders questioned military actions. He chastised the party for its historical inadequacies in supporting the Indian Army, contrasting it with the current government's strong defense policies. Shah reaffirmed BJP's stance against terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir and ridiculed Congress leaders for undermining India's peace efforts.
