Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge has expressed criticism towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi's international diplomacy, particularly in light of the recent 25% tariff imposed by the US on Indian goods.

In a post on social media platform 'X', Kharge, son of Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, questioned the effectiveness of events like 'Namaste Trump', asserting they did not provide tangible benefits for India. He further alleged that India faced isolating penalties for procuring Russian oil and military hardware, undermining its autonomy.

Kharge criticized the diplomatic landscape, particularly Pakistan's gains by securing a seat at the UNSC and aid from the International Monetary Fund. He accused President Trump of favoring Pakistan, highlighting strategic and economic setbacks for India despite Modi's diplomatic efforts.
