BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh has launched a scathing attack on the National Conference (NC) government led by Omar Abdullah, accusing it of failing to deliver on election commitments in Jammu and Kashmir. Chugh criticized the NC administration for using diversionary tactics and questioned why none of their promises have been fulfilled ten months into their term.
Chugh highlighted several issues, including youth unemployment and stagnant infrastructure development, which have yet to see any real-world progress beyond speeches. He also challenged the government's stance on statehood, pointing out the contradiction in their administrative failings.
The BJP leader extended an invitation for an open debate with Chief Minister Abdullah, while also criticizing the previous regimes for widespread misgovernance, social disorder, and school closures. Chugh reaffirmed BJP's zero-tolerance policy on terrorism and called for a united stance against drug-related incidents.
