The MLAs of Jharkhand's ruling INDIA bloc took a firm stand against the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, deciding to pass a resolution in the assembly during the monsoon session.
The coalition, chaired by Chief Minister Hemant Soren, expressed opposition to the Election Commission's decision, voicing concerns over the misuse of constitutional institutions by the Centre.
Meanwhile, the main opposition, BJP, plans to strategize for the session in an upcoming meeting, as the assembly prepares to address diverse issues, including the Sarna religious code and OBC reservation hikes.
