Amit Shah's Assam Visit: Inaugurations and Celebrations
Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to visit Assam on August 29 to inaugurate the new Raj Bhavan. He will also attend a convention for newly elected NDA panchayat members. In the evening, Shah will launch the birth centenary celebrations of Assam's first non-Congress chief minister, Golap Borbora.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will mark his presence in Assam on August 29th, where he is slated to inaugurate the newly-erected Raj Bhavan.
Amit Shah's agenda also includes attending a convention of newly elected NDA panchayat members. The members are to be honored in a ceremony organized during the event.
The day will conclude with the inauguration of the birth centenary celebrations for Golap Borbora, the first non-Congress chief minister of Assam, before Amit Shah's return to New Delhi.
