Amit Shah's Assam Endeavour: Pioneering Cooperative Revolution

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will arrive in Assam on August 29 to inaugurate the newly constructed Raj Bhavan, as confirmed by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. The visit underscores the focus on fostering regional development and community engagement.

Following the inauguration, Shah is slated to address a convention of newly elected NDA panchayat members, where a cooperative society initiative will be unveiled. The scheme aims to promote the formation of cooperative societies in each panchayat, encouraging agricultural activities on government-leased lands.

In a key cultural tribute, Shah will kick off the birth centenary celebrations of Golap Borbora, Assam's first non-Congress chief minister, highlighting Borbora's legacy and contribution to the state's political history. The day will conclude with Shah returning to New Delhi.
