Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Nishikant Dubey has publicly criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of giving support to Hamas amid the escalating conflict between Israel and Palestine. Dubey described Hamas as a 'terrorist organization' that targets innocents in Kashmir, slamming Gandhi for what he deemed to be an endorsement of the group.
In a social media post, Dubey questioned Gandhi's motives, suggesting that his conversation with an American MP showed support for Hamas. Dubey further claimed that Gandhi had compared the Assam-based political entity Asom Gana Parishad with the terrorist organization Hamas, undermining its background as a product of a student movement.
Amid these allegations, Gandhi also hit back with accusations against the BJP and the Election Commission of India (ECI) regarding electoral fraud. He argued that there exists incontrovertible evidence showcasing vote manipulation by the ECI to benefit the BJP. While the ECI dismissed his allegations as misleading and unfounded, Gandhi continues to assert his party has critical evidence that could jeopardize the ECI's credibility.
