NCP leader Supriya Sule has launched a scathing critique of the BJP-led Mahayuti government in Maharashtra, accusing it of inefficacy in tackling the state's rising crime rate. Highlighting issues such as an alleged Rs 4,900 crore scam in a key women's welfare scheme, Sule argued the administration acts as a 'mute spectator.'

Addressing reporters, Sule pointed to escalating crime in regions like Pune and Beed, questioning the government's inaction and demanding accountability. She further criticized delays in forming an SIT for probing the 2022 murder of businessman Mahadev Munde, noting the government's delayed response only came after the victim's wife's protest.

Sule also addressed recent communal tensions in Yavat, condemning outside influences inciting violence. She called on Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar to maintain harmony in the district, while lambasting the state's focus on self-promotion amidst serious governance failures.
