Defence Minister Rajnath Singh delivered a scathing critique of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, describing his accusations against the Election Commission as sensational and baseless. Speaking in Patna, Singh dismissed Gandhi's recent comments on the Special Intensive Revision process, accusing him of irresponsible rhetoric.

Singh mocked Gandhi's assertion of having an 'atom bomb' of evidence for vote rigging. 'If he possesses such a bomb, he should reveal it,' Singh challenged, recalling Gandhi's past dramatic statements likened to a 'mouse out of a mountain.' Singh defended the Election Commission as a responsible institution unfairly criticized by opposition leaders.

He criticized the Leader of Opposition's conduct, referencing the Congress party's historical Emergency declaration as a constitutional breach. Regarding the SIR initiative, Singh clarified its long-standing effort to ensure an inclusive voter list for the Bihar Assembly elections. He accused the Opposition of prioritizing 'dirty politics' over public education.

Praising Bihar's NDA government, Singh linked state and national progress, commending the Chief Minister's leadership. He attributed India's economic rise since 2014 to NDA policies, positioning Bihar among key players in India's growth. Addressing national security, Singh contrasted the Modi government's firm anti-terrorist measures with Congress's alleged leniency.

Sneering at the Opposition's critiques of military actions, Singh urged Bihar's voters to prioritize stability and development over divisive politics. He framed the elections as a choice between progress and regression, expressing confidence in voters' discernment. (ANI)
