The Karnataka BJP, led by President B Y Vijayendra, plans to protest against the Congress for their 'anti-constitutional attitude' in Bengaluru on August 5, coinciding with Rahul Gandhi's protest against alleged 'votes theft.' The Karnataka BJP will protest against the Congress's 'anti-constitutional attitude' in Bengaluru, announced party president B Y Vijayendra. This protest is set for August 5, the same day Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will address a rally against allegations of 'votes theft.'
The venue for Gandhi's protest is Freedom Park, but BJP's request for the same location was denied due to existing plans and law enforcement concerns. Instead, BJP plans to demonstrate near the Gandhi Statue at Vidhana Soudha.
Addressing the accusations of electoral fraud, Vijayendra challenged Congress's claims, questioning their victories in other states and calling for evidence to be presented to the Supreme Court or the Election Commission rather than creating what he termed as 'drama' in Karnataka.
