In a sharp political salvo, YSRCP leader Gudivada Amarnath accused Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu of using frequent Singapore trips to stash ill-gotten wealth rather than attract investments. Amarnath claimed official visits were fronts to safeguard personal financial interests through an associate linked to corruption charges.

Amarnath dismissed allegations against YSRCP, stating that recent accusations of emails to Singapore officials warning against local instability were falsely attributed to their party, alleging the involvement of a TDP functionary instead. He criticized Naidu's Amaravati development agreement as deceitful, favoring Singaporean firms disproportionately.

Furthermore, he credited key infrastructure projects, like the Adani data center, to the previous YSRCP government, contesting current governmental claims. Amarnath called for a public debate over land allotments handed at 'throwaway prices' while the ruling party has yet to respond to these allegations.
