Telangana Jagruti president and member of the legislative council, K Kavitha, has accused a senior party leader of making inappropriate remarks against her, drawing attention to internal strife within the BRS party.

In a press briefing, Kavitha questioned her party colleagues' silence over these remarks and claimed to have evidence pointing towards orchestrated efforts against her by a fellow BRS leader. She warned of repercussions for those involved and criticized a so-called 'Lilliput leader' for his role in harming the party's prospects in Nalgonda district.

Though Kavitha did not identify the individual or specify the remarks, speculation suggests she was referring to comments made by suspended Congress MLC Naveen Kumar. Meanwhile, she called for the Congress-led state government to allow a protest demanding approval of backward class reservation bills.
