Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Shibu Soren, the influential leader who founded the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and championed the cause of tribal rights throughout his career.

Soren, a pivotal former chief minister of Jharkhand, passed away at Delhi's Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, succumbing to kidney-related complications after being hospitalized for more than a month.

'His relentless fight for the dignity and empowerment of tribal communities will be remembered,' Gupta stated in a message on social media platform X, wishing strength to the family and followers of the late leader during this tough time.
