Fadnavis Urges Dialogue, Dismisses Language Tensions in Maharashtra

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis assured the public on Monday that there is no tension between Marathi and non-Marathi speakers in the state. He emphasized that political motives are fueling language controversies and advised his party colleague, MP Nishikant Dubey, to avoid getting entangled in these emotive issues.

Fadnavis also addressed protests regarding the relocation of a female elephant to Gujarat and the stoppage of pigeon feeding at Mumbai's 'Kabutarkhanas', indicating a meeting is scheduled for Tuesday to seek solutions. He highlighted actions against fraudulent claims in welfare schemes and reviewed infrastructure projects to ensure timely completion.

The Chief Minister criticized Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray for deviating from the late Bal Thackeray's Hindutva path, expressing confidence in the BJP-led Mahayuti alliance's success in upcoming Mumbai civic polls.
