Kerala BJP President Rajeev Chandrasekhar on Monday launched a scathing attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, following Gandhi's comments concerning the Indian Army amid a 2022 clash with Chinese forces in Arunachal Pradesh. Chandrasekhar applauded the Supreme Court's criticism of Gandhi's statements alleging China's capture of 2,000 square kilometers of Indian land.

The criticism from a Supreme Court bench, comprising Justices Dipankar Datta and Augustine George Masih, questioned the credibility of Gandhi's claims, stating a 'true Indian' wouldn't make such allegations. Chandrasekhar echoed this sentiment, asserting that most Indians agree with the court's observation, describing Gandhi's approach as rooted in deception.

Drawing parallels with Nazi propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels, Chandrasekhar accused Gandhi of perpetuating falsehoods, alleging that his tactics aim to mislead the public. He highlighted that while the Constitution permits freedom of speech, it also imposes restrictions against lying and defamation. Chandrasekhar challenged the Congress to cite any truthful statements by Gandhi between 2014 and 2025, suggesting his actions align more with foreign interests than Indian.
