Tributes Pour In for Shibu Soren, The Beloved 'Dishom Guru'

His final rites will be held with full state honors at his ancestral village Nemra in Ramgarh district.

Veteran tribal leader and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) co-founder, Shibu Soren, affectionately referred to as 'Dishom Guru', was honored in the state assembly following his death. His passing at 81 was acknowledged by numerous political leaders, including Governor Santosh Gangwar and Speaker Rabindranath Mahato.
Notable figures such as Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram, Women and Child Development Minister Annapurna Devi, and Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth also paid homage. Jharkhand's Chief Minister Hemant Soren, along with state ministers and cross-party legislators, offered their respects to the revered JMM leader.
Shibu Soren's funeral will take place with full state honors in his hometown Nemra, located in the Ramgarh district. Fondly remembered, he leaves behind a legacy rooted deeply within the tribal and political community of Jharkhand.
