Army Debunks Rumors of Munir's Presidential Ambitions

The Pakistan Army has firmly refuted claims circulating on social media that Army Chief Asim Munir has intentions of becoming the next president.

These assertions were addressed by Army spokesperson Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, who, in a conversation with The Economist, declared that Munir harbors no presidential ambitions.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also dismissed these speculations, emphasizing the unity and mutual respect between President Zardari and the military leadership, and highlighting Munir's dedication to the nation's stability.
