Discussions between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff have been characterized as 'useful and constructive,' according to Kremlin foreign policy aide Yuri Ushakov.

The talks lasted around three hours, just two days before a deadline imposed by President Donald Trump for Russia to make peace in Ukraine or face new sanctions.
