Congress' 'Vote Adhikar Rally' Unmasks Alleged Electoral Fraud

In a spirited effort to tackle alleged electoral malpractices, the Congress party announced a 'Vote Adhikar Rally' set for August 8 at Freedom Park, Bengaluru, led by AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi. This initiative aims to shed light on what the party describes as a systematic 'votes theft' hindering democratic processes in India.

General Secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala termed the Election Commission of India as the 'Election Capture of India', accusing it of undermining democratic integrity. The rally seeks to rally support for cleansing electoral rolls and highlighting discrepancies in the voting process. A nationwide campaign, the event underscores Congress' commitment to counter election fraud.

Rahul Gandhi, Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha, has been vocal about the issue, having studied instances of election theft in Karnataka. The rally will see participation from party leaders across constituencies, aiming to enlighten citizens on the importance of protecting their voting rights, with a memorandum also set to be submitted to election officials.
