Andhra Pradesh BJP chief PVN Madhav addressed concerns over US President Donald Trump's imposition of increased tariffs on Indian goods. He argued that these tariffs could backfire on America.
The additional 25 percent tariff, raising total duties to 50 percent, was introduced after India's persistent purchase of Russian oil. Speaking at a 'Chai pe charcha' session in Ongole, Madhav expressed confidence in Narendra Modi's leadership to navigate these challenges effectively.
Madhav emphasized that temporary difficulties would lead to significant growth under the 'Make in India' program, suggesting small incidents can trigger substantial changes.
