Meanwhile, Shiv Sena MP Naresh Mhaske dismissed US President Donald Trump's comments as trivial while praising Modi's farmer-first policies. Modi's assertion of not yielding to US demands underscores India's dedication to its agricultural community, even if it incurs steep costs, against a backdrop of rising US tariffs.
