In a bold accusation, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has alleged electoral collusion between the Election Commission of India and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) aimed at manipulating the 2024 general election results in Karnataka.

Addressing reporters from the All India Congress Committee headquarters, Gandhi disclosed a six-month investigation by his party, claiming to have unearthed substantial evidence of 'vote chori' or electoral theft in the state.

He urged the judiciary to intervene, suggesting that without transparency from the Election Commission, particularly regarding machine-readable data and CCTV footage, the essence of Indian democracy is at risk.
