Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has once again raised his voice against alleged irregularities in the election process, aiming his criticism at both the Election Commission and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Speaking at the 'Vote Adhikar Rally', he accused them of collaborating to undermine the integrity of the Lok Sabha elections.
Gandhi targeted the Election Commission for insisting on an affidavit under oath, noting that he has already affirmed his commitment to the Constitution in Parliament. According to him, the Commission's demand is a diversionary tactic in light of his revelations.
Further attacking the credibility of election results, Gandhi highlighted what he termed questionable voter turnout in Maharashtra, suggesting that a surge in new voters disproportionately benefited the BJP, raising questions about possible electoral malfeasance.
