US President Donald Trump is contemplating the possibility of imposing tariffs on China for purchasing oil from Russia. The consideration comes amid strained international relations, but no final decision has been reached, according to Vice President J D Vance, speaking to Fox News Sunday.

Despite having already increased tariffs on India to 50% for buying Russian oil, a decision concerning China remains pending. India's government has responded, condemning the new tariffs as 'unfair', while asserting their intent to safeguard national interests.
